Attack Partnerships
Source:

Two options for creating attacking partnerships around goal
Drill Description:
Picks
- Ball starts at A and moves to B and C (acting as though we are moving the ball round the perimeter so dynamic and fast)
- When B passes to C they make a hard straight cut into the middle and then pop up to set up a pick on A (pick can be set away from the defender to allow attacker to use pick either way)
- A comes off pick and B rolls out as a second option
Sweep Partnership
- A passes ball to B, rather than moving ball onto the C. B passes back to A and says 'Sweep on me'
- A and B can pass for a couple of goes and either A or B call 'next time' (whichever player says it is dictating the move)
- As the player who call it makes their next pass (e.g. if B calls it, when they next pass to A they start to move towards A where they passed the ball
- As A catches it they take the outside line and drive around B ( who has acted like a screen) to drive to goal
B must keep moving at he same speed and not slow own or stop so they are not called for a moving pick
- This can also work with A making the first move and B driving the opposite way. If this happens, A can peel down the fan and offer as a draw and dump.
