
Grub Drill

Intense possession drill that focuses on possession. Great for making the most of a 'grubbed' ball right in front of the goal!
Drill Description:
* Split the team into groups of 5
* Designated attack and defence groups
* Start with an attack and defence group in front of goal.
* Coach will toss a high ball into the air and teams fight for possession.
* If attack team get the ball, try to score quickly.
* If defence team get the ball, they have to clear to the restraining line.
* When goal has been shot or ball cleared, a new ball is thrown in.
* After 6 balls, two new groups go in.
* Make sure each group of 5 get to play attack and defence.
Variations
Coach can alternate between high tossed balls or groundballs.
